- Kurkure Waterfall
The waterfall is one of the attractions of the Chulyshman River Valley.
It is located near the mouth of the river of the same name, which flows into the Chulyshman River.
The total height of the water drop is about 30 m. The waterfall consists of two cascades: upper and lower.
Falling into a stone depression, water creates millions of small droplets. Therefore, you can get wet even on a clear day by getting close to the waterfall.
In winter, the waterfall is covered with a massive layer of ice, but you can see how the water continues to move under the ice.
To see the upper cascade, you need to climb a ledge about 30 meters.
You can visit the waterfall during a helicopter tour or during the Golden Ring of Altai tour.
