ATV and buggy tours
Taiga River
We suggest you take a trip deep into the Pryteletsky taiga. The road runs along the turbulent Samysh River, which carries its waters into Lake Teletskoye. Along the way, we will have to overcome several small fords through mountain streams, which give strength to our taiga river. We will also pass several bridges, which are associated with various interesting stories. During the stop at the hunter's hut, we will admire a small waterfall, as well as look at the dams made by beavers. And, of course, we will taste the treats from the chef of the Ozero restaurant on the banks of a noisy river. The duration of the tour is up to three hours, which will be comfortable for novice travelers.
Disappearing Source
There are many wonders in the Altai Mountains, but one of them deserves special attention. The disappearing spring is two small lakes about two meters in diameter and no more than a meter deep. The miracle is that the water in them lasts for only 10 minutes, after which it goes underground and the reservoirs remain dry for half an hour. The secret of the pulsating source is a powerful underground key that "turns on" clearly in a cycle. To see this wonderful sight, you need to ride an ATV or buggy several kilometers deep into the taiga, and this forest walk alone will leave you with a lot of vivid impressions. Fill your vacation with new emotions by seeing with your own eyes one of the most mysterious natural wonders of Altai!
Kalychak Mine
Did you know that the second name of Lake Teletskoye is Altyn—Kel, which means "Golden" in Altai? This name was given to the lake for a reason, since rich deposits of gold were discovered here in ancient times. According to officially documented information, an ingot weighing about eight kilograms, the largest nugget in Altai, was discovered deep in the Teletskiye Mountains. The gold mine on the Kalychak River opened at the end of the 19th century and continued its work until the middle of the 20th century. Now this settlement is gaining new popularity among tourists, as it serves as a direct confirmation of the wealth of the Altai land. Going to the Kalichak mine on an ATV or buggy, you can try yourself as a gold digger. Who knows, maybe you will be able to find a nugget that will beat the previous record!
Mount Archie
Climbing Mount Archie is an adventure worthy of a separate story. Making your way through the dense cedar taiga and blooming alpine meadows, every minute it will seem to you that you have found yourself in a protected kingdom on the edge of the earth. But admit it to yourself honestly: when else will you have the opportunity to look into a place where there is no point in resisting the wild, but you can only follow its fair rules! The ascent of Mount Archi takes place partly on ATVs and buggies, and partly on foot — to the very top (more than 1,900 meters), from where you can enjoy a stunning panorama of the ridges of Ile and Korba. Get ready for one of the most exciting adventures of your life!
