Ail's architecture is in keeping with traditional and ethnic style. The structure is built in a cone-like shape made from round logs whilst the interior decoration captures and conveys the culture and spirituality of the Altai people. There is a traditional open hearth situated right in the heart of the ail, and the stuffed animals symbolise the male presence in the home.
